A DRAFT AMMENDMENT TO THE LAW ON GEODESY AND СARTOGRAPHY TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE PARLIAMENT

During a rotating session of the Mongolian government on August 17, 2022, a revised amendment to the law on geodesy and cartography has discussed and decided to be submitted to the parliament. Since its incebolition in 1997, the law on geodesy and cartography has been enacted, with 26 sections, amendments to the instructions, 2 sections, and 7 new additions. These are related to new and updated legislation, and 30 percent of the amendments to the law resulted in the loss of regulations relating to the implementation of geodesy and cartography activities conducted on scientific grounds.
When the revision of the law negotiated and approved by the parliament, resulting in the implementation of geodesy and cartography activities in a unified administration and organization, the elimination of costs and practices, transparency, openness, and the provision of time consuming for citizens, non-dragging, quality products, and professional activities.
