A JOINT DATABASE WITH THE ANTI-CORRUPTION AGENCY HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED AND LAUNCHED

In order to improve coordination and information exchange between government agencies, ensure law enforcement and transparency, and reduce the corruption index, the Agency for Land Administration and Management, Geodesy and Cartography, and the Anti-Corruption Agency established a “joint database” and ratified a cooperation agreement.

Information related to land registration and mapping of more than one million land owners, possessors, users and legal entities in Mongolia is registered in the Integrated online land system /www.egazar.gov.mn/, and the Anti-Corruption Agency Land valuation, fees, tax information, digital personal files and other evidence required for the investigation are now available online.

The Anti-Corruption Agency used to spend 7-20 days writing letters to 21 aimags, the capital city, and 9 districts to obtain this information.
