AGENCY LEADERS HAVE BEEN WORKED IN GOVISUMBER PROVINCE

First of all, the management team met with the Governor of Govisumber aimag G.Batzam and exchanged views.

At the beginning of the meeting, A.Enkhmanlai, Director-General of the Agency for Land Administration and Management, Geodesy and Cartography, briefed the participants on the work being done by the Agency and the results achieved, and exchanged views on issues related to land relations, construction and urban development in Govisumber aimag.

A land use agreement has been signed with 15 mineral licensees in the aimag, and land fees will be imposed, and some degraded land will be cleared of livestock in cooperation with the relevant soum governors.

In addition, a meeting was held with the aimag's LRCUDD and soum land officials to discuss the results of the “Monitoring and Evaluation” conducted by the working group on April 14-15, 2022 in Govisumber aimag's Department of Land Affairs, Construction and Urban Development, and exchanged views on the implementation of land relations laws and regulations and further attention.

Govisumber aimag is accustomed to conducting online auctions for land tenure for business purposes. However, in some cases, when the online auction of land possession rights fails, in case of refusal of the auction winner, the issue of land possession right can be offered to the next person or legal entity, and in case of registration of 1 bidder, It was proposed to improve the land legislation, such as granting possession rights.

For example, since the implementation of the Law on Allocation of Land to Citizens of Mongolia for Ownership, until December 31, 2020, 228.31 hectares of land in Shiveegobi soum have been allocated to 2,087 citizens for ownership.
