JOINED THE "BILLION TREE" NATIONAL MOVEMENT

The President of Mongolia, U.Khurelsukh, initiated the “Billion Tree” national movement to reduce the impact of global climate change, protect and increase forest and water resources, and ensure ecological balance.

As part of this initiative, the staff of the Agency for Land Administration and Management, Geodesy and Cartography planted more than 250 pine, poplar and willow trees in the “Ar Khundlun” valley of Bogd Khan mountain last weekend.

Constant watering is also planned because regular watering is more important than planting trees in the ground. The national tree-planting movement is important for mitigating the effects of global climate change, protecting and increasing forests and water resources, and ensuring ecological balance.
